Veteran Facebook users still log into Facebook, but they post less.

As promised, Google has finally made an official way for businesses and organizations to sign up for their own Google+ page. If I’m to be completely honest, I’m still not the biggest fan of G+. My experience, based on my personal account, is that a lot of people signed up, realized it (generally) wasn’t much different than Facebook and have been inactive ever since. Right now, Facebook is still king.

We talked a little bit last week about Google+, the latest social media attempt from Google. Thanks to Jon, a Church Juice community superstar in our books, we were invited to check out the service. Overall, it’s probably Google’s best attempt at social media to date. The design is clean and the user interface is cool. But like most Google launches, where only a limited number of people are invited to test it out in the beginning, I find myself giving the overall reaction of: meh.

I’ve been hesitant to talk about Google+. After the search giant flopped with two other social media ventures (Buzz and Wave we barely knew ye) I wasn’t sure Google+ was going to be anything significant. But based on the reviews of people who’ve received one of the limited invites to use G+, this social media venture seems to have some momentum.
