Here at Church Juice we’re passionate about helping churches become better communicators. One of the ways we do that is by giving mini-grants to churches we think are doing interesting or innovative things.
And so, we’re excited to announce The Juicys. We want to recognize and reward those churches who’ve worked to improve their church communications in some way during the last year. It’s about looking back but also looking forward. In addition to giving Juicys to churches who have done something great during the last year--and are ready to start their next project--we also want to help a church who has a great idea but hasn’t found a way to make it happen.
Tell us what you did, or wanted to do, over the last year and you could receive $1000 towards your next communications project. (Cue The Price is Right music.) That’s right, we want to give you $1000 to jump-start your next project.
Maybe you went from a terrible website to something you love. Or perhaps you gave your entire communications strategy an overhaul. For some of you, this may have been the first year you even thought about being intentional of how you communicate your passion as a church. Or, if you are a church with an idea and not enough funds to make it happen, tell us your vision.
Entering is easy. Just follow the steps below:
- Fill out the entry form (download here).
- Show and tell what you did in the past year that’s so great. Or share the idea you had but couldn’t make happen. Tell us about it. Show us pictures. Make a video. Use whatever you think works best to share your story.
- Email the entry form and supporting media to jclark@crcna.org

We have a panel of super smart people who’ll meet in the secret Church Juice judging bunker to pick three churches to get grants in the following categories:
- Communications Church of the Year (Smaller Church)
- Communications Church of the Year (Bigger Church)
- Make It Happen Church of the Year
Receivers of The Juicys will be announced around the end of August.
So don’t be shy. Get excited about the work you’ve done and enter. Share it with other churches, too. We’re all working to make church communications better.
